A quote I agree with. . .

I generally don’t like quotes without knowing the context they appear in, but I think this one can be quoted regardless. I don’t even know who John Green is (apparently a vlogger and author?), but I like his quote.
I’m just beginning to feel better, but still have this strange feeling of weakness deep within me. I know I can run to the store, but if I did I would be as sick as ever again tomorrow. Hopefully I can get a few new posts up soon. . . tons of ideas.

Interesting stuff, and very true, I think. Though, that said, I’m not sure I really hold onto any individual quotes that I can pull up off the top of my head at any given moment to declare as my favorite quote, or as a quote I live by…
Dear Travis,
You know, me too. I don’t really have a quote that I live by, and I always have to pull the appropriate book out to find the quote I’m looking for. . . The only one that I can think of right now is perhaps confusing without its context and has an unusual word. “The mind of the poet is essentially mythopoeic.” And I think Ernst Cassirer was quoting someone when he wrote that. . . :-)
My favorite quotation: ” You are not traveling by yourself, but for yourself”
For all the lonely travelers, this is so true !!
My best trip last year was to Kyoto. I rented a bike and went down the bike path along Kamo River.
A memorable trip in good company! Went to Arashiyama and Koke Dera in the pouring rain -
copied sutras (lots of them) and then was allowed to see the moss in all it’s brilliance –
and never felt more alive…..
Hanna, I hope you will have many, many such trips.
